 At the beginning of the imperialist era, many Asian countries were reduced to colonies of the European powers, and in order to justify the colonization of Eastern countries, they divided many countries into two categories, "East" and "West" and created a sense that the West was rational, moral, mature, but the East was unreasonable, inferior, and morally corrupt, under the pretext of the logic that it was natural for the superior West to dominate the East.



It can be said that the reconstructed image of Asia, which was created within the Western Perspective over a long period of time, captures today's "Orientalism."
